why cant i use a pressure cooker on a halogen cooker top?
i have just bought a pressure cooker but when reading the instructions it says 'You can use your pressure cooker on gas or electric readiant rings and solid hotplates. Don't use it on ceramic, halogen, or induction hobs.
Why not? I've wanted a pressure cooker for ages and have finally got one that says i cant use it!!!!!
please help

Of course you can but beware of the damage. Or maybe changing your cooker would help.
