Will you help me pick fabrics for reupholstering a sofa and chair?
I want something fun, fresh and creative. Mixed textures and colors don't scare me. Fabric must be durable and cleanable, as my little doggies sleep on this furniture a lot.
Was thinking microsuede, maybe chocolate on the body of the chair and an embroidered microsuede on the cushions and ottoman.
It's the sofa, chair and ottoman. They are worn and ratty, but solid and classic lines. I found a great unholsterer that needs work right now and will work for cheap.

I'm open to any cool fresh ideas....I'm in my late 20s and like modern colorful stuff mixed with some antiques.
Oh, links to fabric or pics of reupholstered furniture is cool.
The chocolate brown is a good foundation color and I like the embroidered sample that goes with it. Introduce a geometric fabric like a stripe or plaid (or both) picking up the raspberry and coffee color that appears on the embroidery. Maybe it will give you some inspiration. Pick out all your fabrics first then decide where to position them on the pieces.
