I love the (primitive) antique stone sinks & troughs that I saw in Europe, but haven't found any in the U.S. & the shipping for something that heavy is incredibly pricey. You have to go to flea markets or salvage yards. Your neighborhood junkyard may have them. There are people who make a business out of salvaging those types of items from old estates or old homes that are being demolished. Make friends with contractors or people who are involved in construction/renovations/demolitions and they could tip you off when they come across such old pieces. Otherwise, you could look for (mason?) show him pics and give him specific instructions on what you want and have him make it for you.
