How to clean antique velvet upholstery?
My cat vomited up her dinner (meat and gravy stuff) all over my roommates' velvet chair! Help!!
Remove all solids with paper towels,Damp clean the whole area, not just where the sick was, but the whole top.Leave to dry completely , Brush with a good quality medium /stiff clothes brush. this should have cleaned the top to leave no mark, but you should now steam clean and deodorise.whatever you do do not use detergents or chemical cleaners if as you say it is an antique
