Can anyone help me to learn how to identify authentic barkcloth & also the vintage fabric barkcloth?
I need to know how to identify barkcloth both the original from hawaii made from the bark of trees and also the items made in the 50's that is made from fabric called barkcloth.
Fabric is woven as one piece and the pattern is printed upon the fabric as a picture. The fabric made from inner bark is not woven, but beaten together - thus, no weave.
