whats wrong with my siamese?
my cat cutter (blue point siamese) keeps on pooping on the floor (wich is pretty normal for him) but the weird part is today he threw up, is he okay? i always feed him the stuff he always eats its just today he threw up. hes only 11 (a month) weeks and hes never did this before.
Siamese are notorious for eating too fast, or too much, then throwing up their food. It doesn't seem to bother them.......and doesn't mean that they're sick.
I have a houseful of Siamese and I'm cleaning up throw up all day. Sometimes, it's right after they eat and has unchewed food in it.....sometimes, it's when they haven't eaten for awhile, and it's just white foam.....but, they're all healthy. I go through a LOT of paper towels!!
You may need to just get used to it......or, once your kitten has outgrown KITTEN FOOD, you can get the food that's formulated FOR SIAMESE. It's a little "pricey" for me, since I have so many ( 12 ) cats, so I don't feed it to mine.
You may want to take him to the vet to check out why he's pooping on the floor. It could be that he doesn't like the litter, or the box. My cats don't like covered boxes, so I've provided them with LARGE plastic "storage" boxes to use. All of us LOVE these boxes, and they were only $4 at Walmart. There's no good reason for a cat to poop on the floor...........
