Brass Rubbing
I have a brass door knocker that I have cleaned up with Brasso and it looks like I rubbed off some?

sort of coating. It looks great now but do I need to seal it with something to keep it from tarnishing?

What will protect it and make the shine last outside in the elements?

Give it several very light coats of spray, clear polyurethane (non yellowing) Make sure to give it plenty of time to dry between coats.
