I have an itallian ww1 war medal bronze cross, where can I find out what it's worth and possibly sell it?
on the front, there's a crown, followed by the letters EV111(I think it's a kings initials). below that it says "merito di gverra" and below that there's a roman style sword wrapped in oak leaves. On the back, there's a shining five pointed star. If it has any worth, I would really like to sell it, but I don't know how to find out it's value or who would want to buy it. Any ideas?
Your first stop would be your local coin dealer. Don't expect him to be real impressed: the Italians, being Italian, cranked out a lot of medals to decorate their soldiers, and I suspect that yours isn't rare. But I don't know for sure. There are dealers who deal exclusively in medals, and to find these you'd need Google. But take it to a coin store, first.
