Is Grand Torino an accurate description of the Hmong people?
Or it is all stereotypes. like their non-snitching policy. even after that girl got raped it took the killing of that old man to get them to snitch on the gang bangers. see i'm thinking about going to davis and i don't want to live by gang bangers. and i heard there were some hmongs living there. i don't know too much about the hmong people. are they chinese or something? i know there are different types of chinese people. mandarin and cantanose. are these hmong another subgroup or chinese? i just want to live in a safe neighborhood is all. so i'm asking if these hmong people are really gang bangers.
geez u believe anything the movie tells you dont cha. Its like saying every african american steals everytime they walk into the mall. Im Hmong and sadly but yes there are some hmong bangers but that doesnt mean were all gangsters. Its not like every race has one. I lived in southern cali for 20 years and there hasnt been a hmong shooting ever and i live near a hmong neighborhood too. UC Davis does have a lot of hmong people but it just depends where u live at and hmong is just another nationality like korean, chinese, japanese and if u dont know the history what we been through i suggest u look deeper into it cuz the CIA did recruited the hmong to help U.S. fight communism in the vietnam war, betcha u didnt know that huh... if u have anymore question u could pm me i be happy to tell u more about my nationality
