How do you exchange US Dollars to Costa Rican Money?
I am going to costa rica soon and i am going to need some money how do i get some?
I would not get any before arriving. You get a terrible exchange rate here. There are ATM machines in the parking garage that is across the drive from where you exit the San Jose airport. Dollars are taken by tourist oriented businesses and hotels can change cash to colones at a much better rate than you would get in the U.S. as well.
