Can I use lemon oil to clean & shine my plastic flower pots?
I have some terra cotta colored plastic flower pots that have spent too much time outdoors and look their age. I've heard of using lemon oil to clean plastic, and thought I might try it on the pots since I have a lot for furniture polish. If it's out in the sun, is it going to damage the pots more?
I'm unemployed, so I have lots of time to look at my garden, but not a lot of money to put into it, so I'm looking for something economical.
Sure use the lemon oil it won't hurt the plants but don't oil the insides. You can paint them too if you'd like. Wash them in mild soap and water prior to painting...Any exterior paint will work.
