How do you remove cheap dollar store fabric glue from clothes?
I thought I'd try it out on a skirt I wanted to give to my niece, but the little gems popped right off. The glue isn't coming off, though. Is there any way to get it out? The skirt is a soft denim (cotton), and the gems are actually in the centers of embroidered flowers (on a little pile of string, which actually feels a lot like denim when sewn together so tightly).
Not just a stain - a tiny mound of very hard very dry glue.
You might try acetone (Nail Polish Remover) but be careful and see if you can check a spot that won't show first - to see if it does any harm to the fabric.
