I am considering doing away with paper towels. Just using cotton napkins for at the table, and cotton towels for all the kitchen jobs. How much would my laundry increase? would it be worth it? is there a down side i'm not seeing?
It is actually quite easy. Don't let the previous people scare you. I use my napkin holder and fill it with cloth napkins. I use a clean dish towel for dishes and one for my hands so I do not cross contaminate.
You should never wash your dishtowels with your regular laundry. There are germs in your underwear and socks that you do not want on your dishes. I just throw all of my towels, and napkins in one load.
