IS IT CHEAPER TO BUY DRAPERY FABRIC ONLINE OR IN THE STORE?
WANT THE CHEAPEST I CAN FIND THAT WILL MATCH WHAT I WANT.
Probably online but the shipping costs would balance it out. Several shippers (UPS) are now charging extra weight charges for unusual size products, such as a bolt of cloth.
I would go to a few fabric stores, note the brand and exact color model and style numbers, ask for a swatch so you can think about it and make sure you get EXACTLY the same online. If you look for sales and find them, I would buy at store.
Remember you can't get the "feel" of cloth over the computer, nor are colors perfectly matched. A jewel tone red for example could actually be a lot muddier in person than online.
