Egyptian Turquoise
What paint color would go best in this room?

My room is going to be blue and white. Blue walls, white furniture and a few pale yellow (do i even need this extra color?) , and silver accents. This is the bedding: http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/Style-Co.-Sea-Flower-Egyptian-Cotton-Duvet-Set/3244349/product.html
I don't know what type of blue paint would go with this room... A light pale, powdery, baby boy blue or A light blue/ grey color or a lightish turquoise/ teal?
This is my inspiration room: http://www.centsationalgirl.com/2010/04/grown-up-girls-room/ (the after) --> this room also has the same bedding.
Thanks so much in advance!

wow what a gorgeous inspiration room! It is small and cute yet very open and airy........

SO on to your room!!!!!!!
The color of the room really depends on the lighting. That room was a light pale, powdery blue... however it doesn't look like a baby boys room because of all that natural light that floods the room!
-So... if you have this same, vibrant access to the sun in your bedroom-- go for that powder blue! If you really fear the baby boys room look with this blue: put up a beautiful white crown molding to add class and dimension to the space!
(I have light blue walls in my room to! Slightly darker... but the crown molding literally aged my room to looking mature and classic!

SO. If you have little windows, no windows, don't face the sun..... I would go still powdery and light, but with the more gray tints to make it more classical.

so that is that for the wall color!

NOW the accent colors:
I love this idea of pale blue with the silver and white accents! The yellow might work, or it might look kinda random.
I would really play up the different variations in this blue family! Look at the inspiration color: the brighter blues in the boxes, the deep gray blue in the head board, the flat grays in the pictures, the gleamy gray of the silvers, and even that blue glass holding the flowers.
- so all these different types of blue really enhances the room and adds depth.

So maybe instead of light blue and light yellow: stick with the soft whites, light blues, and grays! Like your inspiration! :)

that headboard in the inspiration room is perfect! It literally makes the room! Do you have a headboard like this? or maybe a white headboard?
I strongly suggest using this perfect shade of color and somehow incorporating it ABOVE the bed... and in the lamp shade... even painted squares in that color above your bed will really make a cool difference! Be creative.. OR... sew/buy square pillow in that shade that are a little bigger than normal.... so that it acts like a headboard in the form of pillows!

In addition to color, make sure to find those few pieces that combine your color theme... so in the inspiration room: they use drapes and boxes to pull everything together

BEST OF LUCK!!!! and hope these few design tips help you along your room makeover! jealousss I want to do a room just like this too! :)
