Embroidery Cut
What is a good quality fabric for hand towels?

I was thinking of sewing some basic hand towels for my self with a little embroidery. I would prefer not to buy premade towels and cut them down to size.

I know what to do but I don't know what type of fabric to use. I was thinking of using cotton fabric but I'm not sure.

I would appreciate some advice. Thanks.
