I don't want machine designs and I don't want cross stitch. Just little flowers and such, so I could decorate pockets of jeans etc. Any have any links? Or ideas where I might find these? All I can seem to find is simple outline designs, but I want some with a little more detail. For example, the ones I want are like the kits you see for embroidered pillow cases but in smaller scale. TIA!
At the sewing store (JoAnns), look thru the Pattern books, specifically for home decor/embellishment section. You should find some patterns dedicated to hand embroidery.
The other option is to stencil or trace the pattern onto the jeans, then sew over it. In the painting section of same store, you'll find some stencils.
