What is my grandmother's mink coat worth?

Hey guys, and thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question!

I'm no authority on fur coats, but I'm left with my grandmother's full length mink coat to sell, and was wondering if any of you may know around what range I should price the coat. I know she bought it from May Company for around $2,000 in the 1980s. It's in excellent condition, is lined with a nice elaborate design, and has her initials "V.R." embroidered in a beautiful design on the inside. I took it a furrier, and this all I know about it:

• American
• Female
• Lunaraine
• Fully Let-Out
• Stand Up Collar
• Straight Sleeve
• Elastic Cuff
• (the furrier also said "to - 43in long", but I'm not sure what that meant)

Well it's not worth that much anymore especially since she had it embroidered with her initials. I would say you could maybe get 1000 at best. Personalizing really degrades the value sorry.
