If you like quilts, it would be worth seeing if you can track down a copy of either the book or the PBS show about 'The 100 Best American Quilts of the 20th Century' (hopefully, you can find through your library). There are some pieces in this collection that made me stand with my mouth hanging open staring in wonder and amazement. I've gotten to meet two of the quiltmakers on this list so far - MAJOR rush!
I'm giving you a link to a list on-line, and there are pictures on-line at some of the individual quilters' websites, but as far as I know, the book and the tv show are the only comprehensive visual presentations. Hope you find it of interest.
