I have tried to sew the tiny 1/8th inch ribbon onto the edge of the sock, and kind of do a chain stitch with the ribbon and tapestry needle onto the white sock.... (this was with the ribbon doubled) .......attatching it every 3 ribs of the sock edge. Then I made a single row of the chain stich with the ribbon and added buttons of different sizes, and also added a crayon bead (3 per sock). I am using the Offray ribbon (99Cents per 10 yards). I used almost the whole 10 yards on the one sock. I have found direction on ebay or similar website, for $5, but not sure if this is exactly what I want. I would rather hear from somebody who has done this art, and communicate back and forth. Mainly so we can help each other. !!! Thank you for anyone who would venture to help me!!
