We are re saying our wedding vows (35 years), and doing it Very Special. In a mansion, with a Irish theme.?
We had no real wedding before, we eloped. My husband has bought me a diamond ring for this occasion. I want to get him something VERY SPECIAL, he is a wonderful man!
He has rings that he doesn't wear, chains, he is so hard on that he breaks them, watches galore, tie tacks, cuff links. Bracletts are out because his wrist are so big, he takes a size 16 in a ring. He has lots of crosses, because he is a pastor, so he lots of Bibles, too.
He hunts and fishes, but has all the equiptment (gear) from over the last 35 years.
I want this to REALLY TRULY MEAN something, and I'm stumped.

What about a fishing or hunting trip? I don't know how much you are planning to spend but you could pay for a weekend getaway fishing or a one or two week hunting excursion. My husband also likes to hunt and fish and I think something like that would mean more to him than anything I could buy him that would probably just sit around the house. Jewelry is special to women but men are different.
