Low level soldering iron or wood burner?
I need to buy a low temperature soldering/wood burning iron with temperature range 10-300 degrees Fahrenheit. I don't know if they even make them. I need it to melt a thin peice of plastic to another thing peice. The plastic insulator is 1 mm thin, so it melts extremely fast.
raptor great idea, but I need to add more detail. The plastic I am melting is a lineing of a square box (cathode materaial to a battery) I just need to see the very sides, about 5 mm in width. If its to hot it melts the side of the material, and the cathode falls out of the plastic bag.
150-700f is the lowest i can find. You might be able to find lower they're using in the jewelry field to melt/carve wax.
Only other thing you can do is pick up a normal soldering stations. Then buy a "router speed control" or a variable light switch and a laser thermometer . With that you could get down to what ever temperature you needed.
