anyone has a king size bed in a 11’-7" x 11’-6" size bedroom?
we are planning to move in to an apartment with that dimensions for the bedroom. King size bed will fit but wondering if the room will be too cramped?
Cramped doesn't begin to describe the feeling. The bed is over 76" wide...and that's just the mattress without the frame. That's over 6' wide. So if the bed is centered on a wall in that room you have just over 2-1/2 feet on either side. It would barely leave room for a nightstand on one side and a tiny table on the other. Also, the bed comes out over 80", which leaves you just a few feet for a dresser and room to walk. I have seen it done, but I wouldn't be comfortable in that room. Not that I want to sound negative, but I do want to be pragmatic. Anything bigger than a queen in a room that size will leave you very little room for any dressers, chair or bench, or even a TV.
