It depends! I am certainly not bald after using lace wigs. The problem is not with the wig, but how it is applied.
I see many videos of women applying the units and getting glue or take into thier hairline - that is what makes you go bald at the hairline
This is not just because the glue can rip out the hair, but also because the glue applied is covering the hair folicules and they dont get time to brethe.
When I apply a unit, I ensure that my own hair is covered with a cap - or tied back so that no stray hairs get in the glue, and apply the glue or tape away from your hairline.
Oh and please do not keep these units on for weeks! Take the unit of after about a week and let your head brethe for a day or so, then you can go again.
