Lace Yardage
What type of yarn is soft?

I'm looking for a yarn that is worsted weight to lace weight that is amazingly soft, and with a decent yardage per skein. Nothing too fluffy, and nothing overly expensive. (Meaning below 20-15 dollars per skein). Do you have any suggestions for name brands or material?
