We have a small budget for our wedding. If I can't find a place in or around Orlando Fl that will rent out their room (including chairs & tables) that will d it for a few hundred dollars I won't be able to have a reception. It will need to fit 40 people & allow me to bring my own cake & cheese/veggie trays. And room for dancing. Nothing fancy & it doesn't need to include linens or a bar. Thank you!!
Call up some local restaurants and lounges. Many have private party rooms, and since they'll be making money from drinks and food they won't charge much (if anything) for the space. Naturally they'll have their own linens, and chances are they'll have no problem with you bringing SOME food in. We had our wedding in a restaurant, and we were allowed to bring in the cake and some fruit to go with the cheese plates, but we bought the wine from him since he sold it to us for just above his cost.
