i have 17" alloys on my mk1 punto, and they have locking bolts on them (obviously) but they were on there when i bought the car and i didnt get the key for them, does anyone know how to get them off? they are the ones that are round with ridges on the outside as opposed to a normal one with the round lock piece in the end of the bolt.
You could have a very short bolt welded to them so that they could be removed by turning the new bolt. You could try grinding a flat surface on the side of the nut and then clamping a heavy duty vise grip type wrench head to it. A collision repair facility or junk yard may have their own tricks to remove them I'm sure. I'd try your local junk yard and ask them. It's listed on the websites below.
