Looking for a super durable 1/4 inch to 5/16 inch rope... Regular nylon not holding up.?
Used for pull cords on electric doors so gets pulled hundreds of times a day. Regular nylon or cotton does not hold up at all. Looking to buy a roll of something more durable. (cannot be metallic).
just a guess, the lines we use on sail boats ,not the dock lines the "sheets" the ones that go over pulleys to hoist sails, wenching sails etc. You can buy various quality lines/sheets.
Google a boating store like "west marine" to seee what i mean. these would be the best rope i can think of. And will def be better than what you are using.
