Religion from the down of time has stood In the way of social progress first with science claiming the earth is only a 6000 years old and would kill anyone who disagreed. Then with women claiming god made man the superior sex and specified women to bengood for taking care of children and nothing more followed by blacks finally here we are with "gays" they claim the bible says that god hates gay ppl. But gay ppl are not mentioned in the new testament and the old testament has been renounced by the church. And if anyone read that they would know that it also advocates murdering children who don't listen to there parents and says that any women who do not lay on a white sheet while on there period will burn in hell but those teachings don't seem to have rolled over. So my question is why do Christan's think so negatively about gays? And if your not a christan why do you think they descrimanate against minoritys?
