Should the parthenon marbles go back to greece or stay in the british museum and why?

Please i am in the middle i don't know which one to chose you think you can make my mind towards picking 1?

Stay in the British Museum.

They were legally acquired, and have been properly looked after and displayed by the British Museum.

Returning them would set a dangerous precedent - are all museums going to have to return everything from other countries they have on display? There wouldn't be much for US people to look at in their museums, and no one would be able to view anything from other countries, let alone other cultures, continents, or civilizations, without visiting the country of origin.

Impractical concept when you look at the wider implications.
