my daughter and i ar planning a trip to london and in our free time would like to see madame Tussuad's wax museum and other near by sites

Yes its next to Baker Street Station. Regents Park with its rose garden, open air theatre, cafes and restaurants is very close and Oxford Street is half a mile away - just walk down Baker Street.
