Did anyone ever listen to the "World Languages" part of Encarta 97?
So my best friend and I used to listen to the proverbs in all these different languages on the World Languages section in Encarta 97 and thought they were the funniest thing ever. We memorized them at age 6-8 and still know around 50 of them by heart today and we are 20 years old.
We always wondered whether there was anyone else in the world who did this as well.
Some of our favorites -
Irish Gaelic, Cantonese, Filipino, Uzbek, and much more.
I didn't really do much else with Encarta besides play that game where you have to answer questions to get through a maze. I had most of them memorized.
