Ideas for feeding a toddler at the table?
My daughter is just ready to eat at the table instead of in her high chair. The only problem is, I love my pretty wood table and don't want her to mash food into the tabletop! She's 13 months old, so too young to NOT pull a tablecloth off or sling a placemat onto the floor (with food all over it, no doubt...). Does anyone know of a kids placemat that suctions onto the table or something? Other ideas?
I found disposable placemats in the baby aisle at Target some time ago, I'm sure they're sold elsewhere. They're thin plastic sheets with peel-off tape around all sides so you can attach them securely to the table. When you're done, you just pull it off and toss it.
