Pre calc and mathanyalist?

I'm trying to find the limit and how I do it of Lim-> 16 4-square root x
Divided by x-16. Help plz thx!

Very simply, the top goes to 4 while the bottom goes to 0

More difficult is seeing that the limit does not exist

Imagine you have some number just barely bigger than 16, say 16.00000000000000001

then you have:
4/some very very small POSITIVE number
this will go towards positive infinity.

Now imaginte your number is just barely smaller than 16. Say 15.999999999999999

then 15.99999999999999999999-16 is a very very small NEGATIVE number

so 4/tiny negative number goes to negative inifinity

Since these 2 numbers are not equal, the limit as x-> 16 does not exist.
