I have been looking for days online, I cannot find anything. People that have rare vintage rifles must carry them in something!
Hey! Thanks everyone, It is 54" long, a Leman Plains rifle, but very fancy, nice flame wood and lots of brass ornimate. I wanted to find something like a SKB. Most of these online stores have very little and I have seen nothing for flintlocks,mussel loader, long rifles etc... This rifle has been in my Crockett family ever since it was new, early 1800's.
This question is being asked I assume due to the length of the firearm.
I can not point you to a specific source, but I believe someone from the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association may be able to help.
They have an on-line presence and on the contact page you may find a phone number or E-mail address to direct your query.
You may even find a source from a chartered club in your area.
