Remnant From
How do you preserve a wax cross, so it does not get dirty or disfigured from heat since I live in the south?

My church took all the remnants from the Easter candles from years past and made small 2.5 inch decorative crosses out of them, They are blessed by the priests. I want to know if there is some way to seal the wax so it won't get dirty and/or disfigured from the heat since I live in the south and it gets really hot.

spray it with hair spray it acts like a seal to protect it
