i am knitting a tank top out of ribbon yarn and after i got the front finished i watched a video on knitting ?
with ribbon and she said that you should wash your swatch before beginning your project. well i didn't do that
and i made up this pattern so i don't know what to do
if your wondering i didn't use a computer program just a tape measure a piece of paper and me
i hope somone can help me
ps i don't know what kind of yarn it is or the brand because i unraveled an old sweater to get the yarn. lol!!!
I think you should be OK - washing the swatch is important so you can see how much (if at all) it shrinks after washing it.
Since the yarn you're using is from an old sweater, and you probably washed it before, I imagine that you won't run into much shrinkage here.
