Very stiff focusing ring in old binoculars - any way to fix?
I have an old pair of binocular, probably 30 years old. They have very good clarity (that's why I hate to throw it out) but focusing and diopter rings are very very stiff, I can barely move them. Also, it takes lots of force to rotate tubes to align them against eyes. Is there any way to fix this? Is it possible to take out screws and put some sort of lubricant in it? Thank you
Spray just a touch of WD40 on all moving parts.
