I have a forged roman coin, 2,000 years old, Silver on Bronze...Worth anything?
Coin is in poor condition as the siver had a gap in it (modern) alowing the underlying bronze to corode, distorting the silver layer.
Your best bet would be to take your coin to a local coin dealer. They will be able to tell you so much more by evaluation the condition of the coin. They will also know the amount made and what it is going for in today's market.
