If you had been the Roman Emperor Caligula, would you have thrown perceived enemies to the lions?
even though they "weren't" Christians? Let's say you saw a little Bieber-like boy running around near the pantheon with weird hair annoying the Roman citizenry with his singing and you knew for a "fact" that he was a little pagan boy with weird hair...would you have him thrown to the lions?
Caligula would do more to his enemies prior to throwing them to the lions or sticking them into a head chopping contraption of sorts (1979 Bob Guccione Caligula movie). I just don't have the heart to paste that scene here, so disturbing. I suppose if I was Caligula I would throw him to the lions. I thank little baby Jesus that I live in the time I live. Dang.
