Rubbing Celtic
Real or fake silver?

My friend's boyfriend bought her this Celtic cross necklace for her birthday last year and said it was real silver. Lately though it's been turning her chest black, it rubs off almost like ashy, just where were necklace touches her chest. Could it be fake silver?

it could be fake....it could also be cursed.
