I want to repaint my bedroom but need some suggestions. The interior doors and blinds are kind of dated. The carpet is old, dirty and dingy. Not too much light gets in the room, despite having a sliding glass door. My furniture is white painted shabby chic/cottage and my bedding is pale pink floral and and pale pink decor such as flowers and teapots.
My question is: Should I go with a lighter off white paint? Or should I go with pale pink paint? Or should I stay with the ecru that it is despite the dinginess of the room?
Check out Sherwin William's line of paints called "Illuminescence". You'll find a perfect, pale pink that reflects lots of light. You could even use a soft lavender or yellow.
