How do I get the glue off the stone in my ring?
I bought a ring at the Dominican Republic and I guess i didn't look close enough, because around the stone is a ring of greenish yellow glue, and it looks like the person that set the stone put too much glue on the bottom and it leaked up and tried around the rim. It really is a beautiful ring, but the greenish ring of glue is unattractive. It is a blue larimar stone.
*dried, not tried.
Bring it into a jewelers. It should not cost much and it will be better than experimenting with diy remedys.
