I have a blue-tick mix(we got him from a shelter 9 years ago) He'll lay there and nip at the carpet fibers for hours if you let him. I figure that maybe it feels good on his teeth or he is cleaning his teeth? But why the hell would he want to do this constantly. He will do it on the bed spread,on a blanket and anywhere there is a fabric to nip on with his teeth! It's so retarded!..........Thanks

just make sure he doesnt swallow any of the long fibers.. it can tangle up his intestiness.
