Having worked in the Hotel Industry for over 30 years, it never ceases to amaze me that people would try to steal stuff - after all, they have to register when they enter and everything is checked on arrival.
I have seen things go missing from fuses in the lamps to the TV,remote controls and even the Fruit machine!
If anything was missing from a room - the police would be notified and charges would follow.
As for the lovely Gino - well he's no different to anyone else - in fact he has known form (albeit spent) but even so he admitted smuggling foodstuffs into the jungle!
Anyone watching 'Passport Control' on LIVING from Queensland Airport would know that food stuffs are banned from being taken IN to Australia - so the coffee/tea/salt etc sachets MUST have been taken out of the Hotel!
