How do I get over my mental block from tumbling?
When i was in 7th grade I had gotten my backhandspring, roundoff back hand spring, and standing multiple backhandsprings. And I had all the skills through middle school. Then I stopped tumbling for a while and this year I lost eveyrthign but my backhandspring. I am so mental about everything. How do i get over it?
I am now in 9th grade, going into 10th.
I read in a cheer magazine, a psycologist did an article that if you picture yourself doing it through the day, and before bed, it helps. I tried this and got my back tuck the following practice session. Just don't think about it when you try it again! Go for it!
