Voodoo Halloween party?
I'm throwing a Halloween party for my adult friends (18-20 in age, so, no kiddy stuff) and I've narrowed the themes down to dead man/ victorian/ gothic birthday party theme and voodoo theme.
So, two questions; what sort of stuff would you do (decorations, food, etc.) for a voodoo Halloween party and which theme idea do you like better?
The "dead man/ victorian/ gothic birthday party" theme would be like a victorian inspired birthday party kind of thing, except darker- black and reds, "blood" fountain (chocolate fountain dyed red), eye balls in the punch, gravestones on the cake/ cupcakes. It would be dark, but elegant.
Oh, and the theme would affect my costume. For voodoo, probably a tribal witch doctor (is that dumb for a white person to dress as?).
And for victorian birthday, probably a victorian vampire or victorian zombie. Which is better? (I'm a master make up artist, so, both would look pretty real and neat)
I kind like the Voodoo theme, but vampires are more popular this year.
The witch doctor is cool, it's Hallowe'en after all.
