My father passed away a few months ago. While cleaning his home, I collected a tons of pictures and this beautiful all black antique leather photo album. He purchased it while he was stationed in Germany. It was so old it fell apart. To describe it in detail, it was all black, leather, tie bound and about 12x12. Can someone help me find it?
One problem with the vintage scrapbooks is the paper is very acidic and can eat up the photos. I suggest you look for a similar scrapbook that has archival paper. I have ordered things from a company called Light Impressions, and they do have scrapbooks. Their website is www.lightimpressionsdirect.com/
There are other companies too. Just do a search for "archival supplies". Be sure to use an archival adhesive too.
