I like it, and my fiance likes it too, but I'm wondering if the flowers are too juvenile, and I'm wondering if it's an appropriate wedding invitation.

Personally I like the 2nd one because it's softer looking, but they are both nice. Flowers are not juvenile at all, that's why you see so many invitations with flowers on them. I would think only a cartoon character might be perceived as juvenile and even so, if you and your fiancee like them then that's all that matters.

Click on the thumbnails under the main picture to see many examples. 3 of them show purple flowers - I love the dark plum on the sage background! Also listed under her vintage category is "trees". These are the invites I got and she paints the blooms on the trees to match your wedding colors. You could easily make these invites for about the same cost as the ones your looking at. But go with what you love!
