I recently bought a couch from a thrift store in Indiana. It has purple green and gold peacock designs covering it. I consider it vintage obviously and I didn't pay much for it. Although it has sentimental value to me because of my love for peacocks, any idea how much a vintage couch could actually be sold for?
I think it really depends how you "market it". if you post it on craigslist in your city or ebay, take cute photos of it without junk all around. There are some really lovely, vintage-looking furniture pieces at anthropologie.com. You could source a similar vintage couch and show a photo of it next to your photo as a comparable. people usually respond strongly if they can see they are getting a deal. on craigslist you can post a price and say OBO (or best offer) and see what comes back. good luck!
